About
Pietro is a documentary photographer who started his visual journey in 2007. Studying Photojournalism at Swansea Metropolitan University. Since then, he dedicated himself to self-initiated projects and assignments.
Among his projects, Tide Zero: the life of fishermen in Swansea Bay, South Wales.
Mario: the story of the Italian boxer Mario Maccarinelli.
Concrete Bed: the struggle of rough sleepers in South Wales.
Fieno & Popcorn: the life of circus artists in one of the last remaining wild animal circuses in Italy.
With his project Concrete Bed, he collaborated to Vincenzo Raccuglia's project, Cardboard World with the support of charity organisations such as The Wallich, Exousia Trust, YMCA and The Big Issue Wales.
Since 2018 he's based in Barcelona, where he currently lives and works as freelance.
