Bio
My photographic journey began in Palermo, Sicily, where I was born in 1979. As a child, I was first exposed to photography by watching my father print images in his small darkroom. While this early experience sparked an initial interest, it wasn't until much later that my passion for photography truly ignited. In 2007, I enrolled in a BA (hons) program in photojournalism at Swansea Metropolitan University, solidifying my commitment to the craft. My work primarily revolves around self-initiated projects and collaborations with charities that address social issues. I place a strong emphasis on ethical photography, ensuring that my work respects and accurately represents the subjects and communities I photograph. My approach is characterized by a focus on capturing the diversity of life around me. I’m currently based in Barcelona, where I live and work as a freelance photographer.
